I havent been able to keep up this blog in the past few months.
There was one thing taking up all my time, keeping me away from my family, friends, social life and generally anything that i wanted to do.. That reason was work.
So i quit my job doing web sites and booking engines for hotels, to move onto a new job do relativity the same thing but going back to content i enjoy, Movies!
OK.. so after a month in my new post as Senior Web Developer at LOVEFiLM.com I have begun to remember what i enjoyed about my job and the reasons i love the industry so much. Work is no longer a chore, it isn’t something i dread on a Monday morning and its always to do with the subjects you are working on, films and video games are probably two of the best areas for anyone to work in.
So now with work sorted, my social life is getting back on track. My girlfriend remembers what i look like and i have found a new love of weekends not working!.
Now all i have to do is get off my lazy arse once in a while to actually make the effort to post on here… But be warned, coming back to movies and my love of them i will quite easily fill all of the pages here with random crap about films and things i am working on at LOVEFiLM.. you have been warned!
One of the best web browsers out there is Apple’s Safari, and since its launch in 2003 it has only been for Apple Macs. Made by Apple to comply with web standards, this sleek little browser with its massive window and faster than Internet Explorer browsing has always been the envy of PC based developers like myself.
Fortunately Apple have come there senses and today they launched Safari 3 public beta for Macs, and the first time on PC Windows XP and Vista!.
The Styling of Safari is much nicer and makes the other browsers look more bulky, the little effects to add bookmarks and feeds are a nice touch. Its the speed that is the main bonus though, it works and displays pages much faster than FireFox (without the add-ons) and IE.
This is one browser to defiantly download and run with FireFox and Opera. Time to throw away Internet Explorer? probally not, but someday we can.
I will be testing and developing on this platform in the future, so updates will be the way.

It has been nearly 3 months since i have last posted, its not out of laziness, its because i have nothing to say or views to post.
As with most things is because of work.
When did i get to the point in my life that everything revolves around work. My social life is on hold, my family that i dont have time to see and most importantly the love i nearly lost. All because of the demands that a job has placed on me.
Is what i do as a job that important?.. No of course not!. I make and control websites, not for my own gain but to make others richer and greedier.
Things will change, things will change soon.. and some people wont like change.
Got to London Bridge tube station on the way to work, and found it shut with loads of emergency alarms going off.
No one could tell me what was going on, but it was either a bomb alert or a fire. So like hundreds of others i am currently trying to find another way to work.
My housemate Lee gave this pressie to me today.. I love it, im sorry it might be sad but im a massive gamer and an old school Nintendo NES controller as a bit of bling is class in my book :)
Earlier today my clan ([KM] Clan) was playing a friendly practise war with another clan (Op2 Clan) we are friends with in a 20v20.
The last map was de_nuke and OP2 we beating us, so in the last round as Terrorists we decided that we would rather have a mass suicide than let them get one more point from us.

Vote Husband Chav of the Month!
A friend of mine from a CSS Clan i co-run (Killer Mongoose CSS clan) recently went to fancy dress party as a Chav. As a joke (one of the types that always goes too far) we are trying to get him to number 1 as Chav of the month on www.chavscum.co.uk.
So please help out and vote him a 5 here and spread the word.

Chav: Chavs are the uneducated pain in the arse of the UK society. You usually find them in large groups hanging around shopping malls with a mobile phone strapped to their ear a can of Stella pursed against their lips. They are sometimes accompanied by a pregnant Chavette. Their main income is from unemployment benefit and i wouldn’t talk to them as you wont be able to understand a word they, and they will try and rob you for their next packet of cheap cigarettes
The first post..
well the first post is always the hardest to write, you never want to start out on a bad note, but then what do you want to write about or show.
So im taking the easy way out and writing my first post about the setup of the site.
The theme im using (until i get bored) is the sexy Redoable 1.1 by Dean Robinson (i dont know if he is sexy..), which comes with a few nifty AJAX plugins, such as the live search.
Plugin wise im using the latest Widgets Plugin (latest release is 10th Feb 07), Previous versions wont work with Wordpress 2.1.
For images im using Lightbox 2 Plugin and once the fixes are sorted for Wordpress 2.1 i will turn on the Flickr plugin Slickr. Gregarious is the Social bookmarking tool you see at the top of the post, and finally Ultimate Tag Warrior is used for all the tagging.
There will be changes a plenty cos i am only a fickle person, now im off to find something decent for ppl to read/watch and point at.
